Day 7 on the Great American Rail-Trail
Seven days in and we’ve now completed both the C&O Canal Towpath and the Great Allegheny Passage—354 miles down and many more ahead.
Tomorrow is a well-earned recovery day before I roll onto the Montour Trail and cross into Ohio.
The ride has already been everything I hoped for: beautiful, meaningful, and at times challenging.
The weather has definitely tested us. Plenty of rain has turned sections of trail muddy, slowed progress, and reminded me that adventure rarely unfolds under perfect conditions.
But that’s part of the experience.
You don’t just ride the trail, you adapt to it.
Looking forward to warmer, drier days ahead… but grateful for every mile so far.
Adventure Boldly.
