We’ve Reached Day 5

We’ve completed the C&O Canal Towpath and officially begun the Great Allegheny Passage after arriving in Cumberland, Maryland.

What started with an incredible sendoff in Washington, D.C. is now becoming the daily rhythm of the journey.

Today feels especially meaningful.

There are six veterans riding together with Warrior Expeditions, and on Memorial Day, we ride remembering those who never made it home.

Some gave years of service.
Some gave everything.

Today’s miles toward Pittsburgh feel different.

Grateful for the opportunity to ride.
Grateful for the men beside me.
Grateful to remember.

Freedom has a cost.

We remember.
